A thankful heart opens doors and lets life in. This blog is a journey of discovery.
My desire is to not take the journey alone, but to invite all who would like to join…to come with me. In this very busy, very self centered world, walking through life can feel lonely and empty. I spent most of 2012 looking around and being amazed at just how all ALONE people were, even when surrounded by crowds of “friends”. It feels as though we have all been standing still while everything around us moves at lightening fast speeds. We are lonely. Therefore, a perspective change is in order. If we want to break free from our chains of loneliness we must change how we look at – our world, our life, our family, our friends, mankind and God.
Thus begins the JOURNEY. . .

Hello, Journey. At long last I am passing on the Liebster award that you gave me at the beginning of May. It’s been a very busy month (my bro-in-law passed away a couple of weeks ago. Being his only relation, we’ve been handling his hospital/financial/burial business).
Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I wasn’t ungrateful, just too busy to get it posted. I’m sending it out today. Thanks for your sweet consideration in selecting me.

Sounds like a very worthwhile journey.
It really has been. I have grown a lot as a person and as a Christian. It has also taught me to not believe my first estimation of a situation.
