The topic of the day was, God. It started this morning with a post about God from one of my favorite bloggers (whose stance on the topic I am certain is opposite of mine). As the day continued, a co-worker ran to hug me and inform me that God answered her prayer (yay!). Then at lunch I had someone look at me like I had two heads (and one of  the heads ate small children), when I told him that I believed in God. Yup, it’s been the day of God. I am not complaining about this and relish any conversation about God, whether we share the same view or not.

The heavens declare the glory of God…

The events of today left me thinking about, well God and my views vs. the world. Is He creator and sovereign, or is is He just a name we yell when we are mad? Why is it we so easily forget Him when times are good, but quickly blame Him when disaster strikes? We all have an opinion on God, and one day we will find out who is really right. My perspective: He is creator, Lord, Savior and friend. Your opinion may be different from mine, which is completely fine (we all have free will). If I am wrong I would have lived a life to please God, which has given me peace, joy and a source of strength when times are hard. I would have lost nothing. But if I am right…(read the Bible, you’ll understand).

So what am I thankful for today? I am thankful that people are talking about .
