Mark 9. “‘Teacher,’ said John, ‘we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.’ ‘Do not stop him,’ Jesus said, ‘No one who does a miracle in My name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, for whoever is not against us is for us. I tell you the truth anyone who gives you a cup of water in My name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward'” (Verses 38-41). I have noticed a lot of Christians with that clique attitude, you are godly only if you belong to this denomination, have this certain belief or live this certain lifestyle. In my reading of the Bible, I don’t baptist, methodist, or non-denominational…I see people who follow Christ, Christians. God’s word does not contain any denominational segregation. So why then do Christians (followers of God’s word), see it fit to have dividing lines? If God doesn’t do it what gives us the right? Jesus said, “If you are not against us, you are for us.” Don’t look at a person’s denominational title, look at their love and service toward Christ. Drop the clique, be a CHRISTIAN.
