Acts 23. “There was a great uproar, and some of the teachers of the law who were Pharisees stood up and argued vigorously. ‘We find nothing wrong with this man,’ they said. ‘What if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?’ The dispute became so violent that the commander was afraid Paul would be torn to pieces by them. He ordered the troops to go down and take him away from them by force and bring him into the barracks. The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, ‘Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome'” (Verses 9-11). Paul is being beaten, cursed at, and lied about. What does God tell him? “Take courage!” God encourages Paul’s heart, by reminding him that there is a reason for all that is happening. Life gets hard and trials will come, but…take COURAGE, none of it is in vain God has a purpose.

You do not use many words to say something worthwhile. Great post. There is a reason. We don’t have to know that reason. With Aslan as a metaphor for Christ, C.S. Lewis wrote (as you know) “Aslan is on the move.” Hey, I just started a new blog that goes more in the direction of Christ-centered spirituality. If you get time, I would appreciate you checking it out: http://t7danieldavis.wordpress.com. Peace, T
