DAY 255

Sometimes it is as easy as copy and paste.

Sometimes it is as easy as copy and paste.

Today is the day for new beginnings. So much has happened to be thankful for today, that I hardly know where to start. I thought about relaying my whole day in this post, but that would be a never ending read (ain’t nobody got time for that), so I decided to talk about the main lesson. Ready? Let’s Go! (nope wasn’t a cheerleader…played soccer). At 11:00 am this morning one of the doctors I work with gave birth to two healthy baby boys.  For you to get my point I will bring you back to the beginning of this week. On Monday I was so excited to get to work, I was waiting for one of the Oncologist that I work with to get to in. I had spent a great deal of time searching for the perfect present for her new born babies. She came in, I sat in her office grinning from ear to ear, because I had nailed the present. She opened the package, ever so slowly (that is such torture…slow present opening). As soon as she saw the onesies she began to laugh. Why? One said “COPY” and the other said, “PASTE”. Yes I know…NAILED it! My card said, “Life’s all about learning. This is an easier way to get two the next time around.” Yeah, my sense of humor is a bit… :). Today she gave birth and sent me a photo of the twins in their “COPY”, “PASTE” gear (I am stilling laughing). I remembered my note and had this thought, as far as having twins goes there is no other way to do that other than giving birth. However, many times on this journey we choose the hardest possible route to get to our destination. Like the children of Israel we wander aimlessly in “our desert”. We complicate things by choosing any road, but God’s. The journey doesn’t have to be difficult, yes there will be bumps and bruises. But sometimes it can be as easy as…Copy and Paste.

“I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed My word and did not deny Me” (Revelation 3:8)

So what am I thankful for today? Copy and Paste… 🙂
