Yesterday was my birthday. So I took the day off in honor of, well, me 😉 . Today has been filled with laughter and joy. The highlight of the day was driving home from Fort Lauderdale with my mom and my brother. Telling stories about our day, seeking advice, and just having genuine fellowship. It was family time on wheels. As I sit here and reflect on the days events. I realize how blessed I am: Blessed to be in the family I am in. Blessed to work with the people I work with. Blessed to have the friends I do. Is life always perfect? No. Do I always recognize my blessings? No. I am human and I am limited. But God, (my favorite two words) is gracious to flick me in the head and open my eyes to the beauty I inhabit. Here’s the truth, this journey will NEVER be perfect. We will fall, get lost, and sometimes forget the destination. But through it all God is gracious to remind us that He loves us. Today’s lesson: Don’t be ungracious to God graciousness. Live in gratitude, find your reason to say, “THANK YOU!”

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

So what am I thankful for today? Flicks in the head from God 🙂 .

  1. Happy Birthday. I had the blessings today of going to Victoria Secrets and Torrids and found bargain designer jeans. Heaven forbid if that is all I am. I do feel a rush of happiness though.
