1 Thessalonians 2. “On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts” (Verses 2: 4). Who are you trying to please? Man? God? Pleasing man is like the proverbial hamster on the wheel. Going around in circles but never attaining the ultimate goal, because we can’t please everyone. Pleasing God brings us peace, joy, and leads us to who we are meant to be. We can please God, He has shown us the way, He has given direction on how to please Him. Don’t run around in circles trying to please mankind, instead please God, because in doing so you’ll be able give others around you what they really need.
