Don’t be afraid of looking back it reminds us of where we came from, and directs where we are going.

So I just realized that I was ten days ahead of myself in my posts. Ha! Yesterday I posted day 359 which would mean that after today there would have only been 5 days left till the end of the year. Clearly that’s not true! (And I thought I was good at math 😉 ). This loss of days has me thinking about time. Time, we are always wanting more of it, so it’s ironic to me that I lost ten days and did not realize it till today. This made me think about all the other things in life that I may not be paying attention. What else have I lost simply by being distracted? For me it all went awry at day 227, instead of day 228 I made it day 238 and thus continued the whining down of my days. What’s my point? A simple look back would have showed me my error. Sometimes in life the answer is just that simple, look back see where you made the mistake, then make every effort to correct it. We can’t always fix the past, but we can learn from it so we don’t make the same mistakes in the future.  As of today my days are once again on track. Don’t be afraid to look back you may just find your missing days.
“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, My great army, which I sent among you” (Joel 2:25).
So what am I thankful for today? Finding my missing days 🙂 .
