Genesis 10. “These are the clans of Noah’s sons, according to their lines of descent, within their nations. From these the nations spread out over the earth after the flood” (Verse 32). I wonder sometimes at all our fighting and discontent. I wonder why we find it so hard to contend with, and accept each other. When it comes down to the bare facts, we are ALL alike. We are all human. We all face the same emotions. Yet, we act like we are nothing alike. In fact the catch phrase of the world is, “You are one of a kind.” I submit that we are not. It started with Adam and Eve. We all came from the same starting pointing (even if you subscribe to the Bg Bang Theory). Maybe instead of spending so much time singling out our differences, we should spend sometime embracing our likenesses.
