Genesis 13. “And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere (before the Lord  destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go toward Zoar” (Verses 10). Lot SAW the land. Looks can be deceiving, we all know the end of the story. Lot was defeated by sight. Isn’t it funny that we know this truth yet continue to choose by sight? God said, “Not by sight…” Don’t trust in what you see. Trust in God.
