About lsgrlr

I wanted to do something new. Not something arbitrary like joining a gym, losing weight, getting married, etc. I wanted to change from the inside-out. So, I decided to find one thing to be thankful for each day. On this journey some days have been really good, while others have been disastrously bad, yet every day has produced at least one reason to be thankful. My perspective is changing and for that I am ... Thankful.

      • Ah, my bad. Sorry. I tend to see most religions as extremely limiting and harmful in that they create intellectual deficits and conflict.

I do feel that I should specify that this doesn’t preclude spirituality. I do not find general spirituality as limiting or harmful as organized religion. It’s only when “one truth” enters the picture that things go south.

      • I see your point and agree with you to some extent. The Bible says that God is spirit and those who live for Him must do so in SPIRIT and truth. So when religion stops us from learning and growing Spirituality than I agree it needs to go.
