Leviticus 3. ” If your offering is a fellowship offering, and you offer an animal from the herd, whether male or female, you are to present before the Lord an animal without defect. You are to lay your hand on the head of your offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the tent of meeting” (Verses 1-2). I wanted to make a simple point. Note that the animal was sacrificed at the entrance of the tent. Why am I pointing it out? They needed to come before the Lord with their hearts in the right way. Before the people could fellowship with God they had to make a sacrifice. This is why I am thankful for Christ. We can come to God through His son. There is no barrier between us and God, His Son is the lamb that was sacrificed at the entrance. Here is what I want us to take away from this, God wants fellowship, wants relationship. He has already provided the lamb.
