I have hidden Thy word in my heart.

Leviticus 10. “And Moses said to Aaron, ‘This is what the Lord spoke, saying: By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.’ So Aaron held his peace” (Verse 3). The prerequisite for relationship with God? Knowledge and understanding of who He is and what He desires. We are to love and worship because of who He is, not just what He does (although His works are awesome). It’s not the gifts that make God good. Goodness is His nature. We can’t properly worship or serve if we only know what He can do, but forsake Who He is. Take the time to know your maker, intimately.

  1. I want to know His heart and His mercy. I was taught to fear God as a child. No. I want to do good because I love Him and know His love and kindness not because I fear Him.
