Leviticus 22. “Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord . You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel. I am the Lord who sanctifies you, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord ” (Verses 31-33). We are God’s representatives, what we do and how we do it are a reflection of Him. Lesson: Don’t just say it. Live it.
This is so true. Some of these things I grew up with Don’t take the Lord in vain is one. I have to remember them because I am reminded that virtue never gets old.
