Numbers 10. “Whenever the ark set out, Moses said, ‘Rise up, Lord! May your enemies be scattered; may your foes flee before you.’ Whenever it came to rest, he said, ‘Return, Lord, to the countless thousands of Israel'” (Verses 35-36). When the ark was leaving Moses asked God to go before them and scatter their enemies. When the ark rested, Moses asked the Lord to come and be with His people. The lesson here is invaluable, we too need God to go before us and scatter our enemies as we go through our day, but to rest and be with us as we settle in at night.
