Numbers 29. “In addition to what you vow and your freewill offerings, offer these to the Lord at your appointed festivals: your burnt offerings, grain offerings, drink offerings and fellowship offerings” (Verse 39). At first glance all these offerings and festivals seems overwhelming and overbearing when looking at it from a human perspective. In our eyes it becomes rules and regulations that we follow just because… there is no heart behind it. However, it was God’s heart that His people worship Him, love Him, and spend time in relationship with Him.  The offerings and festivals were never meant to become rules and regulation, there were meant to lead to relationship. Sadly we missed the point and thus Christ had to die. We have a choice everyday routine religious rules, or real active no limits relationship with God our creator.
