Numbers 35. “You shall appoint three cities on this side of the Jordan, and three cities you shall appoint in the land of Canaan, which will be cities of refuge. These six cities shall be for refuge for the children of Israel, for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them, that anyone who kills a person accidentally may flee there” (Verses 14-15). A place of escape, a place of
refuge and comfort. God provided for the stranger, the sojourner, for the children of Israel. He also provides the same for us today. Don’t run away. Run to God. He gives us rest.
