Joshua 15. “From Hebron Caleb drove out the three Anakites—Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai, the sons of Anak. From there he marched against the people living in Debir (formerly called Kiriath Sepher)” (Verses 14-15). This morning I woke up thinking “it’s impossible Lord! How are we going to survive?!” I have moments of fear, despite all that God has done. Despite all the obstacles that God has cleared, I still have doubt and fear (it’s my human nature), I don’t necessarily forget what God has done as much as I focus on what I know I can’t do in my human strength. Then I am reminded… It all about perspective: When I look at God and God alone, the impossible becomes possible. But when I focus on me and my limited strength, sometimes even the possible becomes impossible. This is why Caleb is such a great person to run into this morning, he is eighty-five and he drove out the enemy! How? Caleb believed God. Caleb looked to God. He didn’t see the obstacle, he saw the LIMITLESS God. This morning I woke up nervous and a little fearful, but I won’t continue my day that way. Why? Because I am changing my perspective. Instead of seeing the obstacles, I am going to focus on my LIMITLESS God. He is very, very, VERY able.
