Joshua 21. “The towns of the Levites in the territory held by the Israelites were forty-eight in all, together with their pasturelands. Each of these towns had pasturelands surrounding it; this was true for all these towns. So the Lord gave Israel all the land He had sworn to give their ancestors, and they took possession of it and settled there. The Lord gave them rest on every side, just as He had sworn to their ancestors. Not one of their enemies withstood them; the Lord gave all their enemies into their hands. Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled” (Verses 41-45). Have you ever read something or heard something, then thought to yourself… “Ahhhh, just what I needed”? Reading these verses today, refreshed my soul and renewed my spirit within me. This right here is the beauty of God. His ability to say just what we need to hear, when we need to hear it. The trick to hearing? Being prepared to listen. God is always speaking, always communicating. However, we, His creation are not always listening. In fact we are almost NEVER listening. We are too busy listening to the negatives things of the world instead of listening for the positive things of God. Too busy trying to fit in, instead of becoming what WE are meant to be. This morning I am reminded that GOD KEEPS His PROMISES. ALL of them. Not one will be left unfulfilled. MY SOUL. AT. EASE.
