Real truth is not a fairy-tale.

I write a Monday message for my co-workers. It’s a “keep your perspective” reminder. I avoid all the non-pc words. Like God, satan, Jesus basically anything that has to do with my christian beliefs. However, my Day 314 was such a great picture to me of how we can let our perceptions and beliefs color our reaction to another person. I decided it needed to be a part of my Monday message, so I PC’ed it (“politically correct” for all you who are thinking “personal computer”…I know some of you were don’t lie 🙂 ). I read, re-read, and re-read, in an effort to take out anything that may be considered inappropriate for a work environment. After checking I prayed, something like “Dear Lord please don’t let me get fired” ;). Naw,  not really. I did however, pray that it would reach who it needed to reach. After I finished checking, I hit send. Here’s the cool part every response that I received back said something about God, and or Jesus! None of my replies were PC! This is hilarious because they were not mentioned once in my email. Here’s what I took away, the truth of God cannot be hidden. His reality is ever present, there wasn’t a person (in those that replied) that didn’t realize that it had to be God, why my perspective changed. Today was one of the longest day I have had in a while, but the blessing of my morning responses overshadowed that. Share the truth, if it is real, even if you don’t mention God or Jesus people will see them in it. Because “REAL” truth only comes from them.

“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).

So what am I thankful for today? Non-PC responses 😉
