1 John 3. ” Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that He appeared so that He might take away our sins. And in Him is no sin. No one who lives in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen Him or known Him” (Verses 4-6). Ever heard someone say this, “It was just a little white lie”? When did we start color coating wrong, as though coloring made it less wrong. God said sin is LAWLESSNESS, note He did NOT color coat. Sin is sin. Wrong is wrong. The world would be a much easier place to navigate if we lived life acting on that truth. Let’s not live trying to make sin less, or find ways to make ourselves feel better about it. When we do wrong, we need to own up. Ask for forgiveness, then…DON’T do it again.
