AND I QUOTE:

Standard

quotation-marks“Well, when you know you are of worth — not asking it, but knowing it — you walk into a room with a particular power. When you know you are of worth, you don’t have to raise your voice, you don’t have to become rude, you don’t have to become vulgar; you just are. And you are like the sky is, as the air is, the same way water is wet. It doesn’t have to protest.”

Answering the question: “What is the value to others of young women or young men who know how to hold themselves well?”

About lsgrlr

I wanted to do something new. Not something arbitrary like joining a gym, losing weight, getting married, etc. I wanted to change from the inside-out. So, I decided to find one thing to be thankful for each day. On this journey some days have been really good, while others have been disastrously bad, yet every day has produced at least one reason to be thankful. My perspective is changing and for that I am ... Thankful.

  1. Wow! Impressive. So true. When I am secure of who I am, I don’t have to exaggerate my skills and way of expressing myself. I simply continue to be.
