Philemon 1. “I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, because I hear about your love for all his holy people and your faith in the Lord Jesus. I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ. Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people” (Verses 4-7). I have been hearing the word refresh a lot recently. My Pastor discussed it on Sunday, it was mentioned in my Bible study group last night. Refresh. Sometimes you need to just have that feeling, like ice cold lemonade on a hot sweltering day. Ahhh, refreshing. That’s what the call is, we are called to be refreshing to those around us. It is not always easy, but God has blessed us with the tools. So today be the glass of ice water, that some needs as they walk their desert (almost wrote dessert 🙂 ).
