Ever wonder what people are really thinking? Oh they say the right thing, act the right way, but something in your spirit picks up on something that makes you wonder…Do mean what they say? That train of thought then leads me to this thought, “What about me?” Do people get that vibe, that feeling from me? There are many, many times I do things I DO NOT want to do. Saying yes, when the answer I feel really is no. As I continue to grow, I am realizing the importance of communication. Because saying yes, when we really mean no will often leave us feeling anger or resent toward the other person. In some cases that resentment builds and builds until one day…BOOM! Today I have decided to adopt an attitude of “honesty”, as well as an attitude of “don’t complain if I say yes”. We can’t get mad if we choose to say yes instead of saying no. The other person is not a mind reader, the only way they can know what we feel is if we tell them. There are times in life when the thing we don’t want to do is the right choice, However, there are times in life when it’s okay to say no. The truth is better than hidden anger.
“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).
So what my plan of attack? A change of attitude. Learn to accept the choices I make.

This is so true.
