Genesis 29. “Laban said, ‘It’s better that I give her to you than to some other man. Stay here with me.’ So Jacob served seven years to get Rachel, but they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her” (Verses 19-20). It does exist! Love. The kind that sees nothing else, but you. The kind that would endure manual labor just to be to be by your side. Jacob endured seven years of labor and to him it seemed like no time had past. Why? Because he LOVED Rachel. The Bible says that a thousand years is like a day to God. Why? I submit, it is because He LOVES us.
