I have hidden Thy word in my heart.

Exodus 10. “Then Pharaoh said to him, ‘Get away from me! Take heed to yourself and see my face no more! For in the day you see my face you shall die!’ So Moses said, ‘You have spoken well. I will never see your face again’” (Verses 28 – 29). Pharaoh meant his words to be a threat. However, in reading the verses it is Moses’ words that sound more terrifying to me. Why? With Moses around Pharaoh had a connection to God, an opportunity to repent. To ask for forgiveness. But in pushing Moses away he effectively closed off his communication with the living God. Are you a Moses to a pharaoh? Do all you can to keep the lines of communication open. You may be their only opportunity.
