Exodus 9. “And Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, ‘I have sinned this time. The Lord  is righteous, and my people and I are wicked. Entreat the Lord , that there may be no more mighty thundering and hail, for it  is enough. I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.’ And when Pharaoh saw that the rain, the hail, and the thunder had ceased, he sinned yet more; and he hardened his heart, he and his servants” ( Verses 27, 28, 34). For the record.  Pharaoh is stupid. I am sorry I can’t help it. For the record he wasn’t exempted from any of the curses, so they happened to his people they happened to him. Boils, pestilence, fire, and hail. Yet they man was so stubborn he’d rather suffer than give in to God. Like I said, stupid, yes I know moms all around the world are a gasp at the use of that word. But sincerely we need to call his actions by what they are. Then we need to realize that when we do what Pharaoh did, stubbornly fight God.  Well I am sorry to say, but that makes us “not so smart” as well (better mom?).
