Leviticus 4. “If any member of the community sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, when they realize their guilt and the sin they have committed becomes known, they must bring as their offering for the sin they committed a female goat without defect” (Verses 27-28). We can sin unintentionally. In fact this entire Chapter is about what we should do if we realize that we have done something outside of God’s perfect will. What are we to do? Ask for forgiveness. What has always been amazing and consistent to me about God, is that at every point He provides a means by which we can have fellowship with Him. Why would He do that? He desires to be with us (me and you, yes I’m surprised as well 😉 ). Today we don’t have to kill lambs and sprinkle blood. Today we can come boldly as God sent His son to be our sacrifice. So don’t wallow when you have done wrong, come boldly ask forgiveness. Accept the gift Christ has given.
